													Dr Ian KC Fok
Dr Ian KC Fok is a graduate of The University of Melbourne. He is a college recognized gastroenterologist and hepatologist and an expert in general gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr Fok has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome and has multiple international publications.
In his limited spare time, Dr Fok enjoys playing with his two young children and tuning his audio system
													Dr Kenneth Hon
Dr Kenneth Hon MBBS FRACP is a highly experienced Gastroenterologist who completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2005. He completed his physicians training at the Flinders Medical Centre, Flinders Private Hospital and Repatriation General Hospitals in South Australia before gaining his FRACP in 2013.
Kenneth has completed his initial Gastroenterology training in South Australia before completing an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Freemantle Hospital in Western Australia.
Kenneth is an academic physician and has many published research literature. He travels regularly to attend national and international conferences and workshops.
													Mr Cuong Duong
Mr Cuong Duong attained his medical degree (MBBS) with honours from Melbourne University in 1993 and completed surgical training (FRACS) in 2006. He undertook further training with world leaders in New York (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre), Tokyo (National Cancer Institute), Seoul (Yonsei Medical Centre) and Brisbane (Princess Alexandra Hospital).
Mr Duong is well known for his advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques, ranging from complex cancer surgery (oesophagectomy, gastrectomy, adrenalectomy, splenectomy) to general benign conditions (gastroesophageal reflux disease, morbid obesity, gallstone disease, inguinal/incisional/ventral hernia). He is a pioneer in Australia for performing laparoscopic vagal nerve-sparing total gastrectomy. The benefits of minimally invasive surgical techniques for patients are reduced pain, reduced hospital stay (e.g. total gastrectomy patients being discharged on day 2 – 3 following surgery), early return to work and minimal scarring.
Mr Duong is actively involved in both clinical and lab-based research in the attempt to improve outcomes for his patients. He attained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Melbourne University in 2006 and supervises PhD students as well as many surgical trainees.
Mr Duong is a senior Upper GI surgeon at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and also works within the Western Health network and Epworth Freemason Hospital. He consults and provides general surgical support for Dr Gastroenterology. Mr Duong also performs both gastroscopy and colonoscopy on site at Dr Scope.
Mr Duong works in conjunction with Dr Gastreoenterolgy to consult with patients pre and post procedure.
Mr Duong is fluent in both English and Vietnamese
													Dr Sheital Chand
													Dr Abed Azizi
Dr. Azizi obtained his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004, continuing his education by completing his physician’s training at Royal Brisbane Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital, obtaining his FRACP in 2011. He has completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training in Sydney Australia, with an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship from Bankstown Hospital, Sydney.
As an academic physician, Abed is published in the research literature and travels regularly to national and international conferences and workshops, some on invitation to lecture. He holds professional memberships with GESA, ASGE, RACP and AHPRA.
Abed is fluent in the Arabic and English languages, enjoys playing soccer, hiking and running in his spare time with an overall commitment and interest in health and fitness.
													Dr Bernard Chin
Dr Bernard Chin is a Specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with an interest in bowel cancer screening and prevention. Dr Chin graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1999 and obtained his Fellowship of the Australian College..
